Bill Hero's bill analysis and recommendations are fully automated, and our system processes incoming bills in batches.
In general, for a standard PDF bill, it will take about 20 minutes for your bill to be ingested, parsed, analysed and compared, and for us to send you your personalised comparison results via email and SMS.
However, there are a few reasons why it might take longer than this:
You uploaded images or scans of your bill - photos and scans sometimes require manual processing to extract the data. We prefer the PDF files that retailers send via email, and our system can extract all the required information from these bill files automatically
Your bill was batched and processed in the evening – we deliberately do not send results late in the evening or at night to avoid annoying our subscribers with an SMS ping at an unreasonable hour
Your bill required manual review – our system includes a variety of automated tests and checks to validate the data extracted from bills and other parts of the process. If we detect any potential errors or discrepancies, the bill is queued for manual review
If your bill requires manual review, the standard turn-around time is 48 hours.
